Known Third-Party Issues

The following issues have been reported in Employee Center. These issues are caused by third-party software such as browsers or components. Workarounds and/or potential resolutions are provided on an item by item basis, as available.

Platform Issues

Browser Issues

Task ID Description
2585 Expense Claims: Intermittent problems with Print View on Microsoft Internet Explorer. For details and potential resolutions, see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/973479
2656 Chrome: Potential browser freeze with drag-and-drop attachment from the upload (Open) dialog on Expense detail page if the pop-up file selection dialog is closed prematurely.

Workarounds

The following workarounds are currently available:

  1. Do not drag and drop files directly from the file selection (Open) dialog, instead, select the desired file in the dialog window and click the dialog’s Open button.
  2. If you do opt to drag a file from the file selection (Open) dialog, do not dismiss that dialog until the green “Uploaded Successfully” pop-up message has been displayed on, and then removed from, the upper right corner of the browser window.
3365 In Microsoft Internet Explorer, there may be some focus issues with the Send By Email dialog, as a result of the popup dialog appearing on top of an existing popup. This is a limitation of this browser.
4668 In Microsoft Internet Explorer, when attaching a file to purchase or payment, the file path does not clear after uploading the attachment. This is benign.

Workaround

The following workaround is currently available:

  1. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, Open Internet Options.
  2. Under the Security tab, click the Custom button.
  3. In the Download section, enable Font Download.
5120 In Microsoft Internet Explorer, after successfully attaching a file to a payment request, the message "This is a required field" appears beneath the description field, but the file name continues to display. You can ignore this message unless you intend to attach another file.

Component Issues

Task ID Description
2891 PDF attachment does not fully support XFA or AcroForm documents
3369 Deprecation warning from moment.js appears in the browser's developer console. This warning is benign.

Drag and Drop in the attachment dialog does not work with Internet Explorer on Windows 10. This is an issue with the ng-file upload plugin, see https://github.com/nervgh/angular-fi...oad/issues/530. You can still select the file directly using the mouse and keyboard.

4907 Calendar plug-in may display "ghost" days after the end of the month on certain browsers. This is a benigg display issue, these days cannot be selected.
