Supervisors Creating Attendance Requests on Behalf of Employees (07258)

Supervisors can now create attendance requests on behalf of employees reporting to them without getting an error.

Manager Tasks

The Manager Tasks page now does not display hours in addition to date in the date column.

Sorting Order HR Request List and HR Request Inbox (07291)

The sorting order on HR Request List and HR Request Inbox pages is now based on the HR Request No. from newest to oldest.

Dimension Control on HR Position and HR Request (07286)

When Enable Dimension Combination Validation in Dimension Validation Setup is True the dimension values on HR Position and HR Request are now editable and users can change individual dimension values. When clicking on the OK button the system validates if the new dimension values are part of a valid combination and if not generates an error message.

Qualifications: Show on Web Apps (07462)

Show on Web Apps field has been added to the Qualifications page.

Public Salary Disclosure Report (07441)

Ability to use longer filters for Payroll Control Codes when running the report. 

The Fringe Benefits column is using the correct sign now. 

Location Name in Change Log Entry (07554)

Location Name in Change Log Entry was extended to 50 characters.

HR Position, Report to Position (07579)

A new field "No. of Reporting Positions" has been added to the HR Position FactBox. The field displays the number of positions with this position as Report to Position.

A new action "Reassign Reporting Position" has been added to the HR Position. It allows HR Administrators to easily change the Report to Position from one position to another. 

Dimension Control on HR Position and HR Request (07615)

Employee Number Series on HR Request (07734)

Users can now select Employee No. Series when creating a new employee from HR Request.

Primary Manager and HR Representative on HR Employee Card (07789)

Primary Manager No. and Name and HR Rep. No. and Name have been removed from the HR Employees Card for organizations that use Advanced Position Management.

Most Current Records on Benefits FastTab (07790)

Only the most current records are now being displayed in the Employee Other Auth. Info in the Benefits FastTab.

CPT 30 on HR Employee Card (07791)

A new Boolean field CPT 30 has been added to the HR Employee Card.

Temp SIN No. Expiry on HR Employee Card (07793)

 A new date field Temp SIN No. Expiry has been added to the HR Employee Card.

Cause of Absence: Attendance Totals (07531)

Approved Absence (Base) is showing the total of the approved entries from Absence Registration. The field is drillable.

Balance (Base) is showing the total of all approved entries including Schedule entries. The field is not drillable.

Training Registration Email (07593)

The spelling and the formatting in the subject line and the body of the email have been updated.

Header Caption on Pay Structure Details (07879)

The Header Caption on Pay Structure Details now matches the caption from the Pay Structure.

HR Requests: Process Steps Update (08302)

HR Requests created from Web Apps do not create process steps. When a NAV user selects either Process All Steps or Process Individual Steps these steps get automatically inserted and processed.

HR Requests: Steps Processed by User (07794)

Added a new field to HR Requests “Steps Processed By User” that is populated with the name of the user that had launched the “Process All Steps” routine.

Message on Cancel HR Position Ledger Entry with Type Budget (08110)

The message when cancelling HR Position Ledger Entry with type Budget has been changed to “Are you sure you wish to cancel this entry for the employee? It cannot be reversed.”

Most Current Records on Benefits FastTab (08114)

The functionality for displaying the most current records are now being displayed in the Employee Other Auth. Info in the Benefits FastTab has been enhanced.

Cancelling HR Position Ledger Entry with Entry No. of 0 (08128)

Cancelling HR Position Ledger Entry with entry no. of 0 no longer impacts the non-position specific Payroll Controls assigned to the 26. employees.

New Date Fields on HR Employee Card (08216)

Three new fields have been added on the HR Employee Card: Continuous Service Date, Severance Credit Date, and Vacation Credit Date.

HR Budget Journal (08220)

The caption for Assignment Start Date has been corrected to Calculation Start Date.
Employee Union on HR Request and HR Position Ledger Entry (08262) Union Code has been added to the HR Request and HR Position Ledger Entry. On the HR Request the value defaults from the HR Position and can be changed. On processing the HR Request the value is transferred to the newly created HR Position Ledger Entry.
HR Request Web Service Update (08957) Codeunit HRRequestAEP (2303220) used as a web service for integration between NAV and Web Apps has been updated to include logic that populates HR Process Steps when HR Reason Code is selected on an HR Requisition on Web Apps. The Web Apps functionality will be available in a future release.
Sparkrock HR Setup Caption Changes (08958) Captions and order of fields on the EWA Setup fasttab have been reorganized to reflect changes in terminology on Web Apps.
HR Request: Pay Structure, Grade and Step (09127) The filtering on the HR Request for Pay Structure, Grade and Step was improved.
Refresh on Pending Employee Changes Role Center Tile (08899) The refresh functionality on Role Center Tiles when records are inserted from Web Apps has been improved. Users can now refresh the values on the tile by:
  • Reopening NAV
  • Click on the tile, and then Refresh on the page that opens. 
Variance for All Positions Stack (08936) A new stack that shows the variance between the budgeted FTEs and the active FTEs has been added to the HR Manager Role Center.
KwikTag on HR Pages (09382) KwikTag support has been added to the following pages:
  • HR Employee
  • HR Position
  • HR Request
  • HR Position Ledger Entry
  • HR Request Inbox
Absence Management (09610) New functionality for Absence Management has been introduced that includes Attendance Plans, Entitlements and Carry Forward calculations, Sequence Balance calculations. Clients implementing this new functionality need to have their license regenerated.
Absence Confirmation (09610) New process is now available that allows setting up and triggering notifications for employees to confirm their absence and for the managers to confirm the absence of the employees they are responsible for.
Sparkrock HR Setup (09465) Users can now update and save data using the Altus HR Setup page.
Pay Cycle Period Offset (09495) Users can now configure offsets in number of days based on Pay Period End Date for other dates configured on the Pay Cycle Period.
Contact Email on Training and Registration (09513) The Contact Email on the Training and Registration page is now coming from the Company Email associated with the Contact Employee not from the Email field as it was previously.
Sick and Holiday Hours on Pay Stubs (09345) Sick and Holiday hours are now displayed on the Pay Stubs.
Absence Incident: String Length (09605) The length of the Absence Incident string has been reduced to 30.
Absence Management New and improved Absence Management with multiple usability enhancements that enable employees to easily see their balances, enter absence requests, and view these requests with their statuses in a calendar view. Managers can approve or delegate the approval of absence requests and enter requests on behalf of employees that report to them.
Absence Confirmation  Absence Confirmation is a new process that enables the employees to confirm their absence and allows the managers to view these confirmations and confirm the information on their end.
